Everything here you can verify yourself

There are no case studies on this page. A case study is a claim you cannot check — named clients, big numbers and glowing quotes, on every contractor's website, all equally impressive and equally unverifiable. What follows instead is the list of things about us that can be independently confirmed, and how to confirm them.

What can be independently verified about Supreme Building Services — company number, tender and solvency data sources, and the working tools — against the supplier network which cannot be audited, and case studies which are deliberately absent.
The middle column is the honest one: the supplier network is ours and you cannot audit it, so we say that rather than implying otherwise.

The company

Supreme Building Services Limited, registered in England & Wales, company number 10095179. Search that number on the Companies House register and you get incorporation date, registered office, directors, filed accounts and any charges registered against the company — none of it from us, all of it free.

We say elsewhere on this site that you should check any firm before engaging it. It would be inconsistent to say that and then ask you to take ours on trust. The same check works on us, and you can run it with the same tool.

The tools work, and you can prove it without asking us

Everything below runs on live data and is open to anyone. No account, no email required, nothing gated. The point of listing them here is that a working tool is a harder claim to fake than a testimonial.

Verifiable

The tender feed

Open UK construction contracts from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder. Every item links out to its original notice — so you can read the government source and check our summary against it.

The BOQ pricer

Paste in a bill you already have a real price for and see what comes back. That is the honest test of an estimating tool, and it is the one we would run.

The solvency check

Enter a company number — ours, if you like — and compare what comes back against the Companies House record. It is the same public data, assembled.

Supplier match

Describe a requirement and see how many verified suppliers sit behind it. Counts and categories, then an introduction on request — the network is not published as a list.

Where the data comes from

  • Tenders — Find a Tender Service and Contracts Finder, the official UK public procurement sources, published as open data in OCDS format. Free for anyone to read, including you.
  • Company and solvency data — the Companies House register and The Gazette, the official public record of insolvency notices.
  • Rates — a maintained element rate card combining schedule-of-rates data, real supplier quotes, published price guides and indicative benchmarks.
  • Suppliers — a verified network built and maintained by us. This is the one thing on the list you cannot independently audit, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

What we say about our own estimates

They are indicative. Not a fixed price, not a quotation, and not presented as either.

Most of the rate card is benchmark data rather than quoted prices, and the pricer labels every line with the basis it used, so an estimate built largely on benchmarks looks visibly different from one built on quotes. Lines it cannot match come back unpriced rather than guessed — which makes a summary look worse and is the right behaviour, because an invented rate inside a submitted tender is a loss you have contractually agreed to.

The uncomfortable version, said plainly. A tool that answers everything confidently is easier to sell than one that admits what it does not know. We would rather you saw the gaps, because you are going to find them anyway — on site, at your expense, if we hide them now.

What we do

Groundworks and civils, below-ground drainage, sub-base and surfacing preparation, kerbs and edgings, and new build and structural work where the job needs the whole package. Aggregates and drainage materials supplied to site through vetted suppliers. Estimating from drawings, photographs or a bill.

Where a job needs something we do not do, we will say so. A contractor whose capability list happens to match whatever you just asked for is telling you something about their sales process, not their capability.

Questions

How do I check the company is real?

Search company number 10095179 on the Companies House register. Incorporation date, registered office, directors, filed accounts and any charges are all public, free and independent of anything we say here.

Why are there no case studies on this page?

Because a case study is a claim you cannot check. Named clients, project values and testimonials on a contractor's website are unverifiable by definition, and everyone's are impressive. We would rather point you at things you can test yourself.

Where does the tender data come from?

Find a Tender Service and Contracts Finder — the official UK public procurement sources, published as open data. Every tender in the feed links back to its original notice so you can read the source rather than trusting our summary.

What are the estimates based on?

A maintained element rate card mixing schedule-of-rates data, supplier quotes, published price guides and indicative benchmarks. Every priced line is labelled with which of those it used, and lines with no matching rate come back unpriced rather than guessed.

Can I speak to someone who has used you?

Ask. References are given on request and in context — for work comparable to yours, rather than a curated quote on a web page.
